It had been a very long time, many years, since my last eye exam. These folks are well versed in bringing you through each issue of eye care you may have. They are pleasant and thorough, listening to any problems you may be having and explaining immediate or long term care you may be facing. As for fitting you with lenses, the experience couldn’t have been better. It’s exactly what you need, with any changes that might come to pass or need to look forward to. The doctors, staff and technicians all take their time to listen to your concerns and explain your options and what is going on with your eyes. They are very through with their exams.

I recently visited the Garner office and saw Dr. Hammond. Very friendly staff. I had the most comprehensive eye exam I have every had. Dr. Hammond and his staff took the time to listen to me as I explained the issue I was having. Then worked with me to find a resolution. One week after my eye exam I had my new lenses and can now see better than I have in over a year!

Recently having moved to North Carolina, the time for eye exam was near. Two of my daughters (patients of the clinic) recommended Johnson Optometric to me. The visit from the moment upon arrival was a very good experience. Everyone was kind, efficient, helpful and professional. Dr. May is an excellent doctor, explaining the exam, telling what needs to be done and why. Out of the eye doctors I have had, he truly is the best and am thankful to be under his care. Johnson Optometric and Dr. May are keepers!

I’m relatively new to the area. Dr. Hammond has been tracking me for possible glaucoma. I am grateful for all the care and concern shown by ALL the staff. They have been most careful in all their examinations, photography of my eyes, and careful diagnosis and prescribed treatment. It is always a pleasure going to Johnson’s Optometrist. They are so friendly and very thorough. They explain everything in detail. Cindy in the optometry part is such a sweetheart and is excellent in picking out just the right shape, color and fit for me in glasses! I highly recommend them for your eye health!

This is my first visit in 3-1/2 years however, my wife visits every year to get her eyes check. This time I had Dr. May.

When I arrived, the receptionist was very pleasant and professional. After filling out some documents, I was called in about 10-15 minutes near my appointment time. Amy came and got me and brought me in the back. Amy was very pleasant and asked a number of questions, which made her, the Drs, and my job easy. After she finished what she needed to do, Dr. May arrived within a few minutes. Dr, May introduced himself and shook my hand. Overall, the experience with Dr. May was excellent. He had great “bed side manners”. I hope to use him in the future.
