Dr. Jessica Cummings

Dr. Jessica Cummings grew up in Red Springs, North Carolina. Dr. Cummings earned her undergraduate degree in Nutrition Science from North Carolina State University. She received her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. During her time in school she performed clinical rotations in ocular disease, contact lenses, and primary care.

Dr. Cummings joined Johnson Optometric Associates in 2025. She is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the NC Optometric Society. She enjoys traveling, reading, and cheering on the Wolfpack! Dr. Cummings lives in Fuquay-Varina with her husband, Josh.
