Poor desk service

Couldn\\\’t get to my appointment for personal reasons – tried to cancel appointment on the website but apparently service not provided. Then called office to cancel but waited for a very long time with recorded message continually telling me to be patient. Eventually my patience failed and I hung up. I\\\’m sorry to have missed the appointment but even sorrier that I could not contact Johnson Eye Care to cancel my appointment.

Called to make an appointment because the “request appointment” link on the website does not work. Waited 20 minutes and no one answered. When I showed up in person to make an appointment, the admin who was helping me, asked me to hold, so she could complete a file. Then she took my name and then told me they have no appointments until Jan but I could go on a cancellation list. When asked about my insurance (through the state) that they are not accepting it in January. Lost my business for sure and probably many other state employees. 🙁 Maybe think about updating your website and adding a message that you are not accepting patients until Jan instead of not answering the phones for appointments.

Great Eye Appointment, TERRIBLE Follow Up

I have been going here for several years and always had a great eye appointment. However, the front desk follow up in the past year has been terrible. I ordered my contacts 3x before the front office actually placed the order. When I recently went to reorder my contacts online, only the prescription for the one eye was showing. I called Abby (online provider), and they said Johnson Optometric only entered the information for one eye. My first follow up call to Johnson on this, the person answering said all the information was entered and Abby was incorrect. I made a second call several days later to Johnson, after Abby insisted it was Johnson’s Office who needed to enter the information into their system. My second call to Johnson was successful, and this time I spoke with a young, polite gentleman (Noah) who entered my prescription information into the Abby system.

Ii have been going to Johnson Eye care for a few years. I wanted to give a shout out to Dr. Clinard with her knowledge and expertise. She always takes the time to answer my questions and I don’t feel rushed at all. She went out of her way to set up an appt for me to discuss my health concerns and make sure I understood them correctly. If anyone is looking for a new eye Dr I would recommend Dr. Clinard for sure !!

HAD EYES TESTED. TOOK ME TO A TABLE TO SELL ME GLASSES. I HAD FRAMES NEEDED 2 LENSES ONLY. WANTED $800 LESS $300 FROM MEDICARE= $500…. I SAID \”NO\”! THEY SAID $50 FOR THE PRESCRIPTON, I PAID IT. LATER I FOUND OUT IT IS AGAINST THE LAW IF YOU PAID FOR THE REFRACTION THEN THEY MUST GIVE IT TO YOU BECAUSE IT\’S PAID FOR.
I WENR ELSEWHERE AND GGOT 2 PAIR OF GLASSES, ONE SUN GLASSES ANE OTHER TINTED FOR LESS THAN $500…..

We had to take our son here to get his first pair of glasses. The place is definitely bigger than any Opthalmologist I have been too. I don’t think you will get a personal touch here as you would with a smaller office, but nonetheless the staff was friendly and helpful in getting my son his first pair of glasses.

I was initially impressed how good our service was in early April. It is now June and my son still doesn’t have his glasses. Luckily, I had his prescription and was able to order him pairs online that came in a matter of days.

I received excellent customer service from the front desk, even though they were extremely busy this morning. It was Monday for sure! George, Dr Hoye and Michelle (eye glass center) were kind, thorough and took time to answer all my questions. I appreciate all of you and your dedication to providing such a high level of service.

Dr.Martin is amazing! I could not get an emergency appt. But Dr.Martin had his assistant call me and had me send a picture of my eye and he diagnosed it, sent in prescription and got me an appt. In 4 days. He then checked my eye for infection and was able to do a complete eye exam. Quality of care above and beyond was given to me.
His assist. Was thorough in the call in emergency and worked amazing over the phone with me and the Dr.Martin.
The vision center was able to help financially with my prescription.
You can put your faith in this Facility whether you have an appt. Or not. A caring Christian atmosphere!

Dr. May is proficient, knowledgeable, friendly. I recommend him to anyone needing eye care. In fact, my interactions with everyone in that office was great.
