I have been a patient of Hammond for over 25 years. He retired so I initiated new contact with Martin. It was a great visit, felt a good rapport and he confirmed issue I was having in one eye. He put me at ease with treatment plan. Looking forward to a good continuing relationship with him.

I have been going to Johnson Optometric for over 40 years. That should speak for itself. No matter where I move in Wake County, I always come to this office for my eye health care Dr. Hartman was my initial doctor and now Dr. May. “Trust and confidence” in the doctors and staff.

It was my first visit with a new doctor to the practice, Dr. Hoye, and he was as professional as the other doctors. He took the time to go over my options and explained everything simply so I could understand. He was very patient with me – those choices are not always clear!

I saw Dr. Martin today for my yearly appointment, and the appointment was great from start to finish. George, the technician, and Dr. Martin were both professional and friendly. Dr. Martin listened and examined my eyes carefully to be sure my vision was clear. The office staff was also helpful! I recommend them highly.

Dr. Clinard went in detail what she thought was going on with my eyes and how assured me that I was doing great. She wanted to follow up in three months to make sure nothing has changed.

My visits with Mr. Martin have always been comfortable and thorough and today was no exception. He takes his time with me, listens, and answers all of my questions.

Literally the best eye doctor out there. Dr. Clinard is so real and sweet. She cares about you and your concerns plus cares about your life. She is amazing!

I’m not a person who likes any kind of Dr. visit. I often avoid and procrastinate having them. I will not be avoiding or delaying eye exams with Johnson Optometric. My appointment was with Dr. Hoye and he explained what he was doing and what he was finding throughout the visit. I found Dr. Hoye to have a very pleasing personality with no hard sell. He made some very practical and relevant suggestions.

I have been seeing Dr. May for almost seven years now. His office staff is always caring, professional, kind, and will go very far in helping you solve an issue you may need to bring to them. As for Dr. May, I always enjoy getting to see him. I am a scientifically curious person, and he never fails to take the time to answer my questions about ocular biology, health and or disease. His professionalism and warm “chair-side” manner is second to none. There have been times where the initial prescription doesn’t end up working quite right in real life, or the contact lenses we’ve tried don’t do well in my eyes; Dr. May always makes sure to work through the issues until things are just right. Though their schedules are full, they work hard to accommodate you as best as they can.

Everything from the lovely receptionist who I had laughing about how her glasses fit the Johnson Optometric brand colors to the lovely Dr Clinard and how she makes sure that you understand everything about your vision health made me smile when i was in the office yesterday. While it might be a wait to get on their schedule, they are well worth it.
