Dr. Clinard and all of the staff at Johnson Optometric are competent, caring and conscientious. She did a through evaluation of my eyes, showed me pictures to help me understand some issues, gave me some excellent advice and answered my questions. I always trust that I am in good hands when I have an eye appointment with Johnson Optometric Associates.

Dr. Hammond and his staff are great. They are very thorough. Answer all my questions. My appointment was a couple of months late, due to the Coronavirus Stay-At-Home order in North Carolina. They took CDC Health guidelines and physical distancing very seriously during the safe re-opening of North Carolina. Very pleased with the service. I was required to wear a mask for my visit. They had me call them when I arrived at their office. I waited in my car. They called me on my cell phone when they were ready for me to come inside. They took my temperature before I entered the building. All the staff were wearing mask’s. I felt safe.

Today I had my annual eye appointment with Dr. Martin and after the exam picked out new glasses. Even with the Covid 19 precaution procedures, which were followed carefully by staff, my appointment went great. It was efficient and the staff and Dr. Martin were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. The Garner office is very professional while also giving you a personal touch.

The office staff has gone above & beyond as to safety practices. I was greeted by Amy at front door. Wonderful attitude despite the added requirements due to COVID-19. I have been a patient of Dr. Hammond’s for over 6 years and have had nothing but the best care. I would highly recommend Dr. Hammond for his professional care and thorough examinations. He takes the time to explain every aspect of the care he is giving so that, as a patient can understand. All of the office staff always conducts themselves to the highest level of customer care.

First I want to thank and commend the staff and Dr. May for implementing and practicing strong safety protocols and social distancing in the current pandemic environment. I felt comfortable and safe during my entire visit.
In my experience this practice provides leading-edge eye care for an accurate assessment of vision and more importantly, overall eye health. Dr. May and the other technicians used a variety of high-tech tools to microscopically examine my eyes for any problems or abnormalities, the accuracy of my prescription and to make sure that my glasses had the right fit.

In spite of all of the measures they\’ve had to take, because of the virus, to keep us all safe, it was a timely, and efficient visit, that got me in and out in no time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Martin and his assistant were the best. Professional and personal. No pressure to buy glasses there, which was much appreciated, as I wasn\’t ready. Would recommend them to anyone!

Dr. May and the staff do a tremendous job. Check in was easy. Great detail was taken in sanitation. The staff got me in quickly and my appointment went smoothly. I wish I had the other names particularly the gentlemen that took me back and did several tests and the lady that checked me out.

Dr. May was quick. Even to go as far as tracking down an x-ray I had done in 2014 so he made sure to compare with current exam.
