I joke with Dr. Hammond that I have watched him grow up and he’s watched me grow old. He is the most thorough, professional, kind doc ever and it’s a pleasure to trust him with my eyesight. Add to that the staff is friendly, pleasant and professional. Highly recommend- our whole family goes to this practice.

I just love Dr Martin. Having an eye exam with him is as comfortable as having a chit chat with an old friend. I know I ask some crazy questions and my husband just roles his eyes. But Dr Martin answers them all with hesitation. The staff there is easy to talk to and deal with as well. I bought a pair of glasses there this time too and that was pleasant and easy. I picked them up a couple of days ago and they’re perfect. I wish all my DR appts were as pleasant as going to Johnson Optometrics. Thanks.

As always, Dr Martin was pleasant & professional. He answered every question plainly & explained any technical stuff I didn’t understand. I have been going to Johnson Optometric for many years (lost count) and have been seeing Dr Hammond in Garner (only twice in Fuquay due to scheduling needs). He has been very meticulous in all of my exams (as I am sure he does all of his other patients). Between my wet macular degeneration issues, cataract, and just aging of my eyes: he has been there for my medical support. The staff has always been superb as well as keeping Dr Hammond on schedule. Great place to go!

I went to see Dr May @ Johnson Optometric Ass for the first time today. The staff was on time, friendly, knowledgeable. They answered my questions and explained everything to me. I plan to go back again and get contacts in the neat future.

Dr. May is wonderful. He explains everything ask if you have any questions or concerns and does a very comprehensive exam! I have been going to Johnson Optometric for years and would not go anywhere else!
