I had a wonderful visit. I have put off going for a couple years now, and when I called to make an appointment, the staff was great in getting me in (I have been having headaches cause I need a new prescription). They took great precautions with hand sanitizer and masks. I sat in my car until they were ready for me. Dr. May is great and super nice. It was quick and then I was able to order a new pair of glasses. I have been going here off and on for many many years, and I always receive such great service. Everyone is so friendly and helpful!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Hammond for many years now, and I’m so glad they have stayed true to just being fine human beings! They are truly a “family” oriented team, and that comes across with every visit, especially during these unprecedented times!

I wondered how the office would handle what should be a routine visit during these unique times. No problem! In spite of the precautions that are necessary during this Corona season, Johnson Optometric Associates definitely took all possible precautions to protect all of us, but they did not lose any of the friendliness that they have always had. I felt welcomed and safe. My doctor, Dr. Martin, is an amazing individual who has that great balance of professionalism and friendliness that is a hallmark of the practice. Dr. Johnson has every reason to be proud of the people he has chosen to join him at Johnson Optometric Associates. No, they couldn’t possibly pay me to say any of this. I have had the pleasure and privilege to have known Drs. Johnson and Martin for decades and they are the real deal: outstanding individuals and outstanding doctors.

We love going to see Dr. May. He is great with my daughter. He is patient, understanding, kind and professional. The staff is also great and professional. I highly recommend Johnson Optometric in Fuquay-Varina.

I absolutely love this optometry staff! Unfortunately, my 2 year old broke my glasses and I needed an updated prescription to order new frames. Dr. Johnson Optometry was able to get me into their office within a week and a half of me phoning in and I had my appointment yesterday morning.
The office took the proper precautions and had plenty of hand sanitizer and face masks for clients without masks. Upon arrival, we filled out our paperwork while sitting in our vehicles then they call your cell phone when they’re ready for you. The physician’s assistant was friendly, thorough, and a pleasure to talk with. Dr. Martin is ALWAYS super friendly, attentive to his patient’s needs, and a joy to be around. I always look forward to my yearly eye exam because Dr. Martin is such an awesome optometrist and has the best personality. The woman at the front desk was also sweet and took care of me needing my prescription, as well as a work note for being out. And a little side note – I love the fact the office plays uplifting music throughout the practice!
All in all, I absolutely love coming to this office and I recommend Dr. Johnson Optometry to anyone needing a sweet, positive, and uplifting office to visit. They’re awesome!

Dr. Hartman was great and now Dr. Martin is great. Have never been dissatisfied with the service I have received. I highly recommend Dr. Martin. Such a fine young man!

This was my first visit to Johnson Optometric Associates. My primary care physician at Wake Medical recommended Johnson Optical and he was not wrong. Dr. May and the entire staff at Johnson were wonderful. Great facilities and equipment.
