Dr. Martin and his staff have once again provided a wonderful patient experience for me. My first visit with Dr. Martin was back in 2015, and it was such a positive experience that even though I moved and now live further away, I happily made the trip to the Garner location to continue under his care. After living in many locations throughout my life and seeing various eye doctors, Dr. Martin is hands-down the most attentive to detail, professional, personable, and dare I say “fun” eye doctor I have ever had. I felt educated as a patient, which is empowering, and the exam was thorough and even pleasant. His staff also helped me in choosing new frames without pressuring me into purchase, but rather showing me options to meet my price range and desired aesthetic look. BEST EYE DOCTOR & STAFF EVER.

I was in to see Dr. Clinard today and it was my first time seeing her so I was a little concerned. My concern was wiped away as soon as she came in the office. She gave me a great exam. She is young but she knows what she is doing. It was a great experience. I would recommend her anytime.

Dr. Clinard is personable, knowledgeable, listens to you, and does not waste time.

Many thanks to the office staff and Dr. Clinard for their patience with me. First of all, I noticed a definite decline in my vision recently and I was concerned about driving. The staff was able to get me in to see Dr. Clinard quickly, which I know was difficult at this busy time. Dr. Clinard tested me and I got my first new lenses. I tried them for a few days and I couldn’t see well. I called the office and got another appointment quickly. Dr. Clinard retested my eyes. My choices during the vision test were different from the first time, which resulted in a different prescription. I got my new lenses this week and they are perfect! I am so happy to be able to see well again. I apologize for needing to be retested, but Dr. Clinard was kind and took it in stride. I also want to thank the optician (I think), Carolyn, who worked with me. Although she wasn’t in the office when I picked up my glasses with new lenses, she called me at home to check on how my new lenses were working out. Again, I appreciate the dedication to ensuring that my vision is the best it can be!

Dr. Clinard provided a great eye exam and is easy to talk with about any concerns regarding my eyes. I highly recommend her to anyone needing optometric care.

Dr Martin and his staff, are always friendly, professional and a joy to work with. From the friendly greeting from Noah at the door, to Dr. Martin’s friendly and knowledgeable tech – I know I am in good hands and will get the best eye care possible!

I visited Johnson Optometric for my first eye appointment in years. I was worried and nervous when I got there. But the staff’s friendly demeanor and attitude were very inviting! The doctor not only took the time to get to know me, but also educated me about my eyes and explained my options. This was a great visit and I am not dreading my next!

I wish I had taken the time to listen to the name of the young lady who helped my wife get settled in for her appointment. She was wonderful. Please review who helped us and give a pat on the back! Dr. May was so good with my wife. He was very patient and told her everything he was doing before he did it and I could not have asked for better treatment. My wife has Alzheimer’s and need a gentle touch.
