My husband and I both had appointments with Dr. Hammond . The staff was very friendly and folllowing all safety rules for the Covid Virus; constanlty cleaning surfaces, etc. and wearing masks as well as their patients. Both of us had thorough yearly exams. We recommend this practice!!

I’ve been a patient at Johnson Optometric beginning in the early 60s with the founder, Dr. Al Johnson in Fuquay. They’ve provided my family’s eye care since then. I currently see Dr. Hammond in Garner and he and his staff provide excellent care. Julie, Jim and Victoria in the lab are like family and are also excellent. I couldn’t be more happy with the service that these professionals provide.

I appreciated the thought and care that went into minimizing the chances for any COVID transmission during my visit.

As for the services, they were as they always are: friendly, timely, and excellent. From the moment I went to the end of my appointment, I knew I was in the best hands to get my annual eye exam as well as some good advice from Dr. Johnson and staff.

I have been going to Johnson Optometric since we moved to the neighborhood three years ago. I have been wearing glasses for over thirty years. I have never found a more caring, interested staff anywhere. From the Desk to the Techs to the Doctors to the Opticians, everyone asks lots of questions and spend time to answer mine to make sure everything is just right. I so appreciate them keeping us safe and well cared for.

I have been going to Johnson Optometric for years and have always been pleased with the care and treatment I have received. Dr. May rocks–very knowledgeable, kind, and concerned. I never feel like I am being hurried through my visits. The office staff is very cordial. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I had an appointment and felt the office went to great lengths to keep everyone safe.

Dr. Clinard and all of the staff at Johnson Optometric are competent, caring and conscientious. She did a through evaluation of my eyes, showed me pictures to help me understand some issues, gave me some excellent advice and answered my questions. Dr. Hammond and his staff are great. They are very thorough. Answer all my questions. My appointment was a couple of months late, due to the Coronavirus Stay-At-Home order in North Carolina. They took CDC Health guidelines and physical distancing very seriously during the safe re-opening of North Carolina. Very pleased with the service. I was required to wear a mask for my visit. They had me call them when I arrived at their office. I waited in my car. They called me on my cell phone when they were ready for me to come inside. They took my temperature before I entered the building. All the staff were wearing mask’s. I felt safe.

Today I had my annual eye appointment with Dr. Martin and after the exam picked out new glasses. Even with the Covid 19 precaution procedures, which were followed carefully by staff, my appointment went great. It was efficient and the staff and Dr. Martin were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. The Garner office is very professional while also giving you a personal touch.
