Dr. Hammond

Dr. Robert Hammond is originally from Alliance, Ohio. He attended Ohio State University, where he completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies. He graduated from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1983. Following graduation, Dr. Hammond completed a one-year residency in hospital-based optometry at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Chillicothe, Ohio. He moved to North Carolina and joined Johnson Optometric Associates in 1984. His practice interests are family eye care, glaucoma and disease management. Dr. Hammond is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the North Carolina State Optometric Society. Dr. Hammond is an avid golfer and enjoys woodworking and remodeling. He and his wife, Lisa, live in Holly Springs and have three wonderful children.
