Dr. Johnson

Dr. Robert Johnson, commonly known as “Dr. Bob,” is originally from Fuquay-Varina, NC. He graduated from North Carolina State University in 1972 and went on to graduate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1976. After graduation, Dr. Bob returned to Fuquay-Varina to practice with his father, Dr. A. N. Johnson, who began Johnson Optometric Associates in 1950. Dr. Bob teaches Sunday school at his church, Wake Chapel Christian Church, and is also a group leader at the Men’s Bible Study Fellowship in Raleigh. He leads a monthly Christian men’s luncheon, Priority Associates, in Fuquay-Varina. Dr. Bob has served as past president of the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce and the Fuquay-Varina Rotary Club. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Amazing Grace Adoptions, Teen Valley Christian Camp and Conference Center and Wake Christian Academy. Dr. Bob and his wife, Faye, have two daughters.
