If you’re looking for quality service and professional-grade care, go to Johnson Optometric Associates. I’ve been going there since I moved to the area in 2002 and hold the doctors and staff in the highest regards. I’ve seen Dr. Martin for the last two visits. He is professional and personable. I could go to a box store eye center for less money, but my eyes are really important to me! ! So I cut corners somewhere else…like forgoing that occasional meal out. 🙂 In addition, the staff helping me select the “just right” glasses know their stuff! And I know they are there for repairs if need be. One last compliment. I am probably most appreciative of their steps to keep everyone Covid 19 safe.

Yesterday was my husband’s and my first visit. We are new to NC and Fuquay Varina. The staff was excellent from the front desk to the exam rooms. Everyone was professional and yet personable. The rooms were clean and equipment was sanitized before it was used on us. Dr Clinard explained our plan of care in easy to understand terms. She stopped and asked if we had any questions frequently. We ordered glasses and the optical staff was also professional and very helpful. They explained what our insurance covered and did not. So far very satisfied with the excellent care provided.

My visit this morning began with greeting, temp check by staff that all wore face masks. The eye tests, exams and annual eye review by the doctor and staff were very professional and to my satisfaction. I was able to select my new frames and look forward to receiving them soon!

Considering Covid19 has still not been completely eradicated, it was very good to receive the necessary vision care I need.

They are so professional, compassionate and know what they are doing. The staff in the Optician section are all professional and know how to treat patients and make recommendations. This review is for my first visit about a month ago.
The COVID-19 check was thorough at the entrance and hand sanitizer was ready to use inside the office. Staff members were cordial and efficient in handling matters. Dr. Clinard was sharp and explained well in detail about my condition. She also mentioned if there’s a problem on the prescription, contact her and she’ll fix it free of charge for one time. It rendered me peace of mind.
Lens service was good and they stand behind their service. When my lens cut was not done corrected, they didn’t hesitate to correct it immidietly.

I’m 85 and have had eye problems since age 2. Dr. Hammond has had the patience to spend 2 to 3 times longer to exam me than regular patients. He has helped me more than any doctor I have ever had since age 2. Everyone in the main office and the prescription center is highly helpful and takes extreme care to keep everyone safe with COVID. I have never seen so many people giving such extreme care to their clients. Again – Thank You.
