I went to see Dr May @ Johnson Optometric Ass for the first time today. The staff was on time, friendly, knowledgeable. They answered my questions and explained everything to me. I plan to go back again and get contacts in the neat future.

Dr. May is wonderful. He explains everything ask if you have any questions or concerns and does a very comprehensive exam! I have been going to Johnson Optometric for years and would not go anywhere else!

Dr. Sall was very upbeat, nice and knowledgeable. I love a doctor that is happy and upbeat. It makes the visit so much more enjoyable. When you are around people who are down and unhappy it tends to bring you down but not Dr. Sall. She told me things about my eyes that I did not know. She did not rush me and answered all my questions. She will be my eye doctor from now on.

I was able to get my eyes check and now have a new prescription to make reading easier again and Dr May answered all the questions I had while I was there. I am very pleased with the assistance that was provided by the staff.

It is always a positive experience when participating in an appointment with Dr. May and the Garner staff. Everyone encountered by me has been courteous and professional.

Today was my first ever visit to the Fuquay office as I normally go to the Garner location. To see Dr. Hammond in a reasonable time frame I came to Fuquay and it was a great visit. Nicky did the pre exam and she was a charm and a credit to this office. She made me feel at ease and was polite and very personable. I now have to say that both the Garner and Fuquay-Varina offices are the best!!!

My family and I have been patience of this practice going on 20 years. We have never had a bad experience. Every doctor we have seen has been welcoming and I’ve never felt rushed. One of my son’s had to get glasses at age 4, he is now 18. Over those years, he broke numerous pairs of glasses and all were fixed with a smile. One year his prescription changed dramatically during the course of the year and he needed new glasses. Our insurance company only covers one pair per year. The office staff called the insurance company and explained the need and the glasses were covered. This staff always goes above and beyond to assist their clients. The staff side that handles ordering and measuring for glasses is absolutely amazing. You know it’s a great place when you walk in and 2 docs, 1 front desk, at least 1 assistant and 3 of the glasses side employees have all been there for at least 20 years! Employers keep employees because it’s a great place.

I have been going to Dr. May for several years and have been nothing but pleased. The eye exam is very thorough, and he takes the time to answer all questions. I never have to wait for an appointment. The office is beautiful, and they have a great selection of glasses. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Without question, Dr. Martin is the epitome of excellent care. He is thorough and makes sure he has answered any questions. His personality is excellent and his interest in the patient as a person makes the visit even better. I would recommend him to anyone. Amazing person and awesome doctor!!
