It was with very friendly, competent staff who moved my treatment efficiently from one step to the next. Unfortunately, my prescription needed to change. I was very pleased with the visit. The people are so kind, and Dr. Hartman is very knowledgable. He is great at listening to you and then explaining what he sees. I would recommend them to others, for sure! They were also very helpful when picking out glasses.

I learned more about my eyes in my two visits than I could imagine. Both Dr. Martin and Johnson were amazingly informative and friendly. I appreciate your initiatives to be more engaged and interested in customers’ personal interests, like asking about hobbys, but you may want to vary the script between doctor and assistant. Like so many of the other reviewers I’ve always fantastic, expedient service. Dr. Hartman explains everything as he goes and the staff is always courteous and professional.
The location is convenient, clean and for me there’s no reason to go anywhere else.

I have always received excellent service at Johnson Optometric. Staff are very competent and respectful. Dr. Hartman is a great doctor. His eye examination is very thorough and he explains everything as he goes. I am very appreciative also of the assistance I received in choosing frames. I never felt rushed and left with confidence that the three of us had agreed on the right frame for me. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. May first saw me when I came in after finding their website and asking to be seen right away. I just KNEW I had left a contact lens in my eye. They saw me immediately and didn’t make me feel like a goober when it was discovered I did not have a contact lens in, I had been digging in my eye for no good reason!
When it came time for my annual exam, I tried them out again. I have a very unique vision problem, only one eye needs correction and no one had ever gotten that one eye to see better than 20/80. Dr. May fixed that:)

I’ve spoken with the other Doctors on staff and they are VERY nice. The office staff are incredibly helpful, especially when trying to handle insurance issues.

I’ve been a patient of theirs since 2008. Now my whole family goes there! I cannot say enough nice things about this practice!
