What’s not to like about this place. You get the comfort of your living room while you wait, the honor of being called to the dark room in the back on time…well, ok, maybe slightly a few minutes past my appt. time and then to have the best doctor in all of NC look into my eyes and take the time to explain all I want to know and need to know about my eyes. BAM!! 5 stars for that. Then out of the dark room to pick out the new frames and have some fun trying on everything to anything to look the best in NC!! NOT! My only wish is that I could of ordered Starbucks and had it delivered while I was trying on frames. Nothing like a latte to match the glasses.
All in all….I love this place, the service, the docs, the support. I think you can SEE my point!

This was my yearly check-up and I feel like I got a very thorough exam from start to the end. Dr. explained some of the results of my test. I felt very comfortable with the results of my check-up.

I am incredibly pleased with this business. Dr. Hammond is very diligent and professional. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I must have tried on 40 different frames with both useful feedback and extraordinary patience from the optical staff. They helped me use my insurance to the utmost. Excellent care and service!

We have always paid our visits to Johnson’s when necessary not because it is local but because of the warm welcome in the pass and even today. All of our family go to Johnson’s also. We enjoy the friendly staff as they seem to really care either an exam or glass correction.

As always the staff was so friendly and efficient. They quickly processed me in and out. Dr. Hartman is so pleasant and takes time to explain each element of the eye exam. Wonderful office.
